May is the month dedicated to the blessed virgin Mary, and Holy Name Convent held their annual May devotions to pay homage to Our Lady. This year also commemorated the centennial year of Our Lady of Fatima.

It was a wonderful opportunity for the students and teachers to honour Mary and pray the rosary as a school community. The rosary was conducted during a public procession around the Memorial Park.

After the procession, the girls returned to school to view the crowning of the Statue of our Lady of Fatima, followed by the burning of petitions. These petitions were submitted during the presence of the Pilgrim Statue of our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima.
