With mixed emotions, we bid farewell to Mr. Lal, our cherished Special Technician, as he embarks on his well-earned retirement. Mr. Lal has been a quiet yet invaluable presence at our school, always working behind the scenes with a soft-spoken demeanor, never seeking the spotlight but always ensuring that everything ran smoothly. His dedication, patience, and unwavering commitment to his work have made a lasting impact on all of us.

As the backbone of our school’s audiovisual setup, Mr. Lal’s role extended far beyond being a technician. He was responsible for setting up the microphones, projectors and so much more, ensuring that everything went off without a hitch. His attention to detail and willingness to assist in any situation made him an essential part of our Holy Name community.

During his farewell speech, Mr. Lal displayed his warm sense of humour by playfully referencing the students of the Av Technician club, a group of students that he formed and worked closely with throughout the years, guiding and helping them. In return, a representative of the Av Technician’s gave a heartfelt tribute, sharing stories of his patience, guidance and the many ways he had shaped their experience. Their words were a touching reminder of the invaluable lessons he imparted, not just in technical skills but in kindness, responsibility and dedication.

Though he preferred simplicity and asked for no grand farewell, it’s impossible not to acknowledge the depth of his sacrifice and the countless ways he made our lives easier. His thoughtful actions, often unnoticed, spoke volumes about his character: kind, dependable, and always willing to go above and beyond. Mr. Lal’s legacy is one of quiet strength and selfless service, and we will forever be grateful for the care and attention he gave to every task, no matter how small.

As he steps into this new chapter of life, we wish him all the peace and joy he deserves. Mr. Lal, your contributions will be deeply missed, but your influence will remain with us. May your retirement bring you happiness, relaxation, and the time to enjoy all the things you love. Thank you for everything, you will always be a beloved part of our school family.
