On Friday 14th September 2018, Holy Name Convent held their annual school mass for the new school term. However, due to the damages caused by the earthquake on August 21st, the mass was held in the courtyard under two white tents.
Archbishop Emeritus Joseph Harris led the congregation along with Father Giroud on the morning of the 14th. Offerings of construction tools such as a hammer and a spirit level were placed at the foot of the altar for the sake of the speedy reconstruction of the top floors and roofs of the school building.
Here are a few pictures of the mass.
