On January 10th, 2025, Holy Name Convent hosted a scholarship assembly to honour the remarkable achievements of two outstanding students who made academic strives and were awarded National Scholarships (Additional). The event in the school’s Marian Hall radiated pride and joy as teachers, parents, friends, and current students gathered to celebrate this extraordinary milestone.

The atmosphere was charged with emotion as both honorees were recognised for their perseverance and determination. One of the highlights of the event was Christiana-Li Miguel’s captivating speech. Her ability to connect deeply with the audience resonated with students as she candidly shared her academic experiences. Reflecting on the importance of balance, she spoke about taking the time to recharge, proving that self-care and success go hand in hand. To motivate her peers, she even provided a lighthearted list of personal tips for staying focused and inspired, reminding everyone that perseverance doesn’t mean sacrificing joy.

Following this, Chaya Vincent’s mother delivered a powerful address, highlighting her daughter’s remarkable ability to balance academics, extracurricular activities, and leadership roles while maintaining a commitment to excellence. Despite facing intense pressure, Chaya’s resilience and determination shone through, inspiring everyone in the room. Her mother’s touching anecdotes underscored the message that true success is built on persistence, hard work, and an unwavering belief in oneself.
Congratulations to Christiana and Chaya on your incredible achievements. Your dedication and perseverance serve as an inspiration to us all. As you continue to reach new heights, may you always remember the power of resilience and balance in your journey. Keep striving for excellence, and may you inspire others with your unwavering determination!
